A new slew of restaurants have entered the metro Phoenix dining scene, bringing Japanese cream puffs, regional Mexican cuisine and new takeout options from several ghost kitchens that are available for online-only ordering.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommends pickup, delivery and drive-thru serviceduring the pandemic, with outdoor dining considered generally safer than indoor dining. Please check ahead of time for what takeout services and seating options are available.
From Buckeye to Apache Junction, here are 33 new restaurants that have opened in recent months in the Valley:
Aimee's Swine House
This breakfast restaurant serves Sedona Red Rock Coffee and items including eggs Benedict on Noble bread and pigs in a blanket with chorizo schmear.

Athens on Easy Street

Bacanora
Chef Rene Andrade, formerly of Ghost Ranch, takes over the high-profile Grand Avenue location that once housed Barrio Café Gran Reserva. Starting with a limited menu, diners can expect Sonoran specialties Andrade grew up with, such as pollo asado.

Banham's Cheesecakes
The Banham family shop sells cheesecake by the slice or whole cake, paired with Press coffee. Options include traditional cheesecake, Oreo, brownie, dulce de leche and key lime.

Beard Papa's
This Japanese pastry started in 1999 with a small bakery in Osaka before expanding into a global chain. People can customize their cream puffs by the shell and filling, with flavors such as honey butter and green tea.

Bosa Donuts
The popular local doughnut chain continues its Valley-wide expansion with itsnew location near Sky Harbor International Airport. Bosa also offers delivery through DoorDash.

Il Bosco Pizza

This upscale Scottsdale restaurant opened a second location in SanTan Village. Expect fine steaks and seafood with a variety of sauces to choose from.

Cutie's Lemonade
Army soldier Quincy Milam's lemonade truck, known for colorful real-fruit concoctions, expanded from farmers markets to shopping center stores. His newest shop opened in northwest Phoenix.

Ding Tea
Taiwanese boba shop Ding Tea brings its selection of flavored and milk teas to Tempe. The shop also serves Yakult and coffee. Toppings can include egg pudding, sea cream and crystal boba.

Celebrity chef Guy Fieri has opened multiple Flavortown ghost kitchens in metro Phoenix, operating for delivery-only out of Buca di Beppo locations.

Halal Fusion Food
